11 Installation Steps
- Mount U - shackle:Fix the U - shackle in position.
- Thread preformed armor rods:Insert one end of preformed armor rods into the U - shackle.
- Mark with tape:Align preformed armor rods and cable ends. Use tape to mark as per color codes for installation reference.
- Initial winding:Start winding from the beam center color code. Wind protective wire and preformed armor rods, leaving ends loose.
- Check & arrange:Repeat winding. Ensure all rods and wires are smooth, natural, and non - overlapping.
- Finish ends by hand:After step 5, wind and flatten ends by hand (no tools to avoid cable damage).
- Align color codes:Match color codes of preformed armor rods and protective wire ends.
- Reverse winding:From the color code mark, wind the other end of preformed armor rods 1-2 turns similarly.
- Final winding:Wind around preformed wires. Avoid sudden cable end bending.
- Sectional winding (optional):To ease install, split preformed armor rod ends (≈20cm sections). Wind by hand, keep uniform.
- Secure U - shackle:Fix the U - shackle to the tower's fastening fixture. Preformed tension set installation completes.
